Stainless Steel and Nickel Alloys
There are over 200 different grades of stainless steel and alloys with 50 or more in regular production. They all have a good resistance to corrosion and are fairly hard however their particular properties depend on their particular chemical composition and the precise way in which the are manufactured.
The obtain their corrosion resistance largely from the addition of Chromium (Cr) all have a minimum of 11% chromium but most have significantly more.
They can be divide into four groups:
- Ferritic Steel
- Martensitic Steel
- Austenitic Steel
- Duplex Steel
We can supply these in a wide range of different forms: seamless & welded tubes & pipes, hollow bar & section, bars & angle and various special profiles. In addition we carry a wide range of fittings and flanges (seamless, welded, threaded etc.)
